Support three local Mundgod Schools; the Tibetan, Muslim and Indian schools.
Students in Mundgod struggle to get the basic resources required to complete their education. We respond to the requests of the schools to ensure the progress of children’s learning. We have provided funds for sitting mats, notebooks, school bags and the building of a school library.

Alleviate the suffering of street dogs in Mundgod
There are many street dogs in Mundgod – they are loved by the community, but cannot be cared for in the way that is in the best interest of these dogs. It is important for the wellbeing of the dogs, that they are vaccinated, steralised and fed. We have done one set of steralisation and vaccination and are looking for a group who can do it bieannually. Covid-19 has held this up somewhat due to lack of ability of vets and other personnel to travel.

Supporting the local Tibetan Hospital
We have been active in supporting the local hospital by purchasing things like sheets, towels, blankets and a washing machine. Prior to the purchase of the washing machine the staff had to wash things by hand! Someone here in Aotearoa/New Zealand donated a baby doppler to the hospital for which they were very grateful.
